I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
